The Fusebox Conference 2001
October 22, 2001
The Fusebox Conference was awesome! On Saturday (the 20th), more than 200 Fusebox developers traveled to Orlando, FL, to be present for the release of the next generation of Fusebox: Fusebox 3.0.
- Hal Helms, Steve Nelson, Nat Papovich, and John Quarto-vonTivadar revealed the new Fusebox 3.0 code
- Jeremy Allaire talked about frameworks (such as Fusebox) and how they are essential for the next generation web-distributed applications using rich clients (such as Flash)
- About fifteen other speakers gave excellent presentations on various aspects of Web development using the Fusebox methodology
- I revealed my PHP translation of the new Fusebox core code!!
There were some other highlights like the cool giveaways (like four Simpsons shot glasses!), and an impressive showing by a British Fuseball player with green hair. |
